Dr. Brandi Kuhn grew up in Calgary, Alberta and attended pre-medicine at the University of Calgary. Western States Chiropractic College brought her to the Pacific Northwest. Following graduation in 1999 she began practice in NE Portland. During this time she also worked as a professor of anatomy at East-West College of the Healing Arts and clinical assistant at Western States Chiropractic College. Dr. Brandi Kuhn has received the designation of a certified chiropractic sports physician (CCSP) and is certified in Applied Kinesiology. This has enabled her to work with many athletes and athletic groups including Portland Fit (a running group which trains for marathons), Hood to Coast and Nike masters games. Dr. Kuhn has also received extensive training in women’s health issues, nutrition, pre and post natal treatment and pediatric care and is currently completing her degree in homeopathy. Her use of a special pregnancy body cushion, muscle therapy and gentle adjusting provide for safe, drug free and effective treatment of many conditions for all age groups. Dr. Kuhn is a voluteer for National Ski Patrol and enjoys backpacking, travelling, swimming and practicing yoga.
Dr. Joshua Kuhn received his undergraduate schooling at Southern Illinois University. With a long time desire to move out West he decided to attend Western States Chiropractic College in Portland not just for their location, but the superior curriculum. As an active runner, skier, and soccer player it was natural for him to be involved with sports medicine. He is a volunteer national ski patroller and has treated many world class athletes as well as weekend warriors. Dr. Kuhn has studied under different mentors in order to receive a more well rounded education. Some of his areas of continued education include the TMJ, Gonstead technique, Sacro-Occipital technique, and motor vehicle injury assessment. There were many reasons Bend, OR was the perfect place for Dr. Josh. He is an avid flyfisherman and enjoys backpacking throughout central Oregon. When not in the wilderness you might also find him teaching a class at a local nursery on the art of bonsai.
