Description

The COLORADO MORMON CHORALE, now in its 23rd year, consists of people from all walks of life, joined by a common bond of commitment to share their spirit through music. The Chorale sings year 'round, and has presented over 575 performances in Denver and Colorado, bringing a love of life and fellowman to many thousands.

Among its highlights the choir counts numerous masterwork performances with area orchestras, including Mahler's Second Symphony (The Resurrection) and Eighth Symphony (Symphony of a Thousand) with the Colorado MahlerFest, Mozart's Requiem, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Verdi's Requiem, Poulenc's Gloria, Durufle's Requiem, and many others.

The Chorale frequently provides music for civic and religious occasions, including the U.S. Congressional Awards Ceremonies, national and local prayer breakfasts, Colorado Day, and Easter sunrise service at Red Rocks Amphitheater for the Colorado Council of Churches. The Chorale has also sung for a Memorial Day celebration at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Easter Protestant services at the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel in Colorado Springs, the American Guild of Organists (Denver Chapter) Choir Anthem Festival, and the Eagle Valley Arts Festival in Vail.
