The Octagon Center for the Arts is a complete community arts center located at Douglas Avenue and Fifth Street in Downtown Ames, Iowa. The Octagon offers many classes and workshops for children and adults, art galleries feature local, regional and national touring exhibits and The Octagon Shop featuring 125 local artists. The Octagon also hosts The Octagon's Art Festival each fall.
